Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

Expert understanding of design theory, including layout, color, typography, hierarchy, as well as current design trends

Ability to take art direction

Ability to design layouts while adhering to template specs, proof content

Ability to follow design instructions and implement style guides

Ability to design across a wide variety of mediums and formats

Ability to provide print specifications, including inks, papers, and materials; evaluating digital and physical proofs; and attending press checks

Experience negotiating with vendors; print buying

Strong file-building and organizational skills
